About us
A Somali company solving a Somali problem
Heegan Airport Trolley Company was built around one observation: at busy terminals across the region, passengers carrying heavy bags could rarely find a trolley — and the operators who had bought those trolleys could not say where they had gone.
Our story
Anyone who has landed at a busy airport with two heavy cases and a child in tow knows the feeling: you scan the arrivals hall for a trolley, and there is not one to be found. Somewhere on the site there are hundreds of them — stacked in a car park, abandoned at a taxi rank, or quietly broken in a store room.
Heegan was founded to fix both halves of that problem. We supply trolleys built properly enough to survive years of terminal traffic, and we give operators the tools to see where those trolleys are, so they never have to guess again.
On 10 September 2026 we opened at Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu, with branded trolley bays across arrivals, departures and the kerbside. It is the first site of many.

Four things we will not compromise on
Build it to last
We specify equipment for the hardest day it will face, not the easiest. Stainless steel, proper castors, real brakes. Cheap trolleys are expensive twice.
Show the numbers
We would rather give a client an honest figure than an impressive one. Every claim we make about fleet performance should be something you can check on your own dashboard.
Turn up when it breaks
A supplier is judged on the week something goes wrong, not the week it is installed. We answer the phone and we fix things.
Serve Somalia first
We are a Somali company building infrastructure for Somali airports and venues, with parts, people and support based here rather than a continent away.

Heegan begins operating at Mogadishu’s main international gateway, with branded trolley bays across arrivals, departures and the kerbside.

Expanding the fleet, tagging trolleys for the Trolley Management System, and opening conversations with malls, hotels and hospitals across the region.
